There are many way to get involved with your local A Kid Again chapter. We hope you will
accept our invitation to enrich your own life as you ease the lives of our A Kid Again Families.
Below are just a few ways to get involved.
Adventures
Lend a hand planning and executing the events that our kids and their families attend. Each event requires a chairperson and many volunteers to make it a success. Annual adventures include a thrilling day at Kings Island, a "dreamnight" at the zoo and a festive year end holiday party.
Fundraisers
Various fundraisers happen throughout the year and are vital to providing fun filled events for our A Kid Again Families. Volunteers are always needed to help with diverse duties at these events. Annual fundraisers include live and silent auctions, competitive golf outings and other various fundraising events.
Hospital Visits
Adult volunteers visit our A Kid Again children in the hospital. They bring along small toys or movies as gifts for the children to help brighten their day.
Speakers Bureau
You can be a public speaker to various groups sharing information on the A Kid Again programs and events. We need a chairperson to lead a group of willing volunteers to contact different organizations and set up speaking engagements. The speakers bureau can be a highly successul community outreach for A Kid Again.
Office Assistance
As you can imagine, there are many mailings that go out to families, volunteers and funders throughout the year. Often, an extra pair of hands in the office can be a blessing.

In the interest of creating the safest environment possible for the families we serve, A Kid Again carefully screens all volunteer applicants to ensure they have the highest qualities necessary for successful involvement. Once all of the paperwork and screenings are complete, the applicant will be invited to an orientation. There are no set hours, nor minimum number of events you may attend.
